4 color silkscreen. Short run of only 25. For sale at the show on Wednesday.

I might make prints of just the drawing later on. We'll see.
No one has noticed the subtle weed leaf going on in this yet. A little too subtle I guess.

It makes me happy when people buy my work because they want to display it on their wall. It's another level of joy for me when someone chooses to place my art on their skin permanently.

Vader Project Auction

I stopped in on my way to work this morning to see the Vader Project exhibit before they were sold at auction tomorrow at Freedman's. There were some really good interpretations in the group of 100 artists, some not so much. I'm glad I got a chance to see them all together for the last time. If I had extra 5 large hanging around it'd be cool to grab one of these but I don't.
I figured out it's been at least 10 years since I've painted anything. I tried using Dr. Matrins liquid watercolors on this one. Different then I'm used to. I forgot how unforgiving watercolors are! I only started to get the hang of it towards the end of the painting.

New print added to the store. This piece was my submission to the "Mini" Print Exchange show at the Signed & Numbered gallery in Salt Like City.
This was the first time I used the stippling technique for inking a piece for silkscreening. Not all the subtle dots I made came through in the print which was a learning experience but overall I am satisfied with the print. For sale at an extremely reasonable price.

Want More Skulls? You got it. Here's a poster for a local metal event I just finished. First time I inked by hand outside of illustrator in a while. I liked doing it this way. I thinks I'll continue to ink off the computer for a while. It's way more metal by hand.
